Cozy Wood is an ideal base for your memorable Gros Morne visit. A UNESCO World Heritage Site covering 1,805 square kilometres, the park is a never-ending series of wonders and delights, and a demonstration of the spectacularly raw and enigmatic beauty of the physical world. Gros Morne is famous for its superb hiking and walking trails, history, amazing landscapes, theatre and great local food. Other local activities include Sea Kayaking, Whale Watching, Boat Tours, Eco Adventures, Fishing, Iceberg Watching, etc.
Cozy Wood is also a great year-round destination. Located just north of Deer Lake Cozy Wood is a great winter destination with world class snowmobiling on your doorstop in the Gros Morne and Cormack areas. Snowmobilers can also easily access the near by groomed snowmobile trails to travel to other snowmobile destinations such as Lewis Hills and North Arm Hills or just take a leisurely day trip.
Cozy Wood is also located just 30 minutes from Marble Mountain Ski Resort in Steady Brook and multiple cross-country ski options in the area.
